In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wood is the energy of Spring, and the wood element represents the liver and gall bladder organ and meridian pairings. Spring is the season to plant seeds, look ahead, make plans, formulate new ideas, make decisions and determine our direction for the coming year.

Healthy liver qi is related to our capacity to make plans and put them into action.

Erika Elliott is a our resident 'Sunday' Himalayan Yin Yoga teacher. Her gentle and sensitive approach to sharing her wisdom is often delivered through poetry and creative metaphors.

Himalayan Yin Yoga is about stillness. It is a practice of allowing yourself to completely surrender and let go. Through Erika's expertise and lyrical visioning she guides each student to feel safe and secure in releasing deeper layers of tension and emotional stagnation.

Join Erika for this two hour Himalayan yin immersion in preparation for Springtime. Come support your body and restore balance as you detox the organ systems, nourish the digestive system, release tension and stress from the spine & hips and "deep clean" the energy channels from their hibernation during the winter months.
